This modern Oak Bay home was very much inspired by the owner’s extensive array of unique midcentury and modern art and furniture, the house showcasing individual items and synthesizing the collection.
The homeowners wanted to use natural, timeless materials and maximize both the light and the privacy of the south facing backyard, and directed the interior design themselves.
Superbly built by Terry Johal, the house nestles in on the lot, in scale with the neighbourhood and provides a tasteful modern accent in a character neighbourhood.
